This Gospel is divided into 95 chapters and was translated from the Aramaic language. It presents a message of universal love and compassion and emphasizes the importance of vegetarianism, nonviolence, and environmental stewardship. The book speaks of the twelve apostles of Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian), and words spoken by Lord Jesus Himself, from His Sermon on the Mount to His instructions on how to live a life of faith and understanding.

Chapter 1. An Angel Appears To Zacharias.

“But the angel said unto him, ‘Fear not, Zacharias, for thy prayer is heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shall call his name John. And thou shall have joy and gladness, and many shall rejoice at his birth; for he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall neither eat flesh meats, nor drink strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.”

Chapter 2. The Annunciation to Mary and Joseph. Songs of Elizabeth, of Mary and Joseph.

“Therefore, also that holy being which shall be born of thee shall be called the Christ, the Child of God, and His Name on Earth shall be called Jesus; for He shall save the people from their sins, whosoever shall repent and obey His Law. Therefore, ye shall eat no flesh, nor drink strong drink; for the child shall be consecrated unto God from His mother’s womb, and neither flesh nor strong drink shall He take, nor shall razor touch His head.”
