The story takes place in a village in Colombia. Many years ago, this candle blessed our family with a miracle. Our house, our Casita, came to life with magic! And the miracle keeps growing, as Alma – now an abuela (grandma) – tells young Mirabel, her granddaughter, at the beginning of the film. The Madrigals’ new house, their Casita, is unlike any other: it is enchanted with magic. “In time, every member of our family...
